Incense Sorig Tibetan
Buddhism flourished in the 7th century AD under the reign of successive religious kings of Tibet, along with the preservation and development of incense-making based on the secret Tantric text of the great Indian Buddhist scholar Nagarjuna. Various formulas for making incense were developed by great scholars of Tibetan medicine such as Zurkhar Lodoe Gyalpo and Deumar in the 14th and 17th centuries respectively. These have been well preserved by modern scholars such as Ven. Dr. Kyenrab Norbu, and it is in accordance with traditional formulas that Sorig Tibetan incense is prepared. 20 sticks, 8" long.
