"Short Meditation on White Tara Called 'The Stream of Nectar'"
This short Arya Tara sadhana was written by Vajradhrik Konchog Trinlay Sangpo in the Padma Woe (Lotus Light) palace at the request of Ven. Namdak Dorje.
In this practice one visualizes one's essential nature in the form of White Tara and recites her mantra. White Tara is associated with healing and long life, and by practicing White Tara one can attain health and longevity as well as the ultimate attainment, Buddhahood. Tara is the basis of the manifestation of all female deities, and she vowed to attain enlightenment in female form and continuously manifest to protect beings from fears of cyclic existence. Just hearing her name with devotion frees one from the eight or sixteen fears. Practicing her meditation and reciting her mantras dispels all obstacles. One will be born in Dewachen, the blissful pure land of Buddha Amitabha.
At the end of this sadhana is a "Supplication Prayer to Tara, the Seven Protectors." The description reads, "Once when Lord Jigten Sumgon was staying at Echung cave having attained Buddhahood, he had a vision of the seven Taras. At that time he made this supplication prayer. This prayer has manifold magnificent blessings."
Now the practice comes with meditation instructions by the translator, Khenchen Konchog Gyaltshen Rinpoche.
