Thubten Nima Achi Chokyi Drolma 2009

Achi Chokyi Drolma, or Grandmother Tara, is a primary protector of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. She was the grandmother of Jigten Sumgon, founder of the Drikung lineage. She attained enlightenment in a single lifetime. After a vision of Jigten Sumgon and the lineage, she decided to take a family and have children for the sole purpose of benefiting the Dharma.

This recording is from Summer Teachings 2009, when Lama Thubten Nima (also known as Lama Gape) taught on Achi Chokyi Drolma.
