Nubpa Rinpoche Uttaratantra 2011

Starting at: $40.00

Most Ven. Nubpa Rinpoche is a very special lama with training in both scholarship and meditation. He spent many years within the Tibetan higher education system, and has also spent a considerable amount of time in Labchi, the famous meditation site of Milarepa. Garchen Rinpoche speaks about Nubpa Rinpoche with deep respect and considers him successor to Drubwang Konchok Norbu Rinpoche, a highly realized yogi within the Drikung Kagyu lineage.

The Uttaratantra is a treatise on Buddha-nature. It said to have been dictated to Asanga by Maitreya, and clearly explains how to understand the ground of enlightenment. The root text itself is an exquisite description of the entire path. Nubpa Rinpoche suggested Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche's edition of the text for study. During these wonderful teachings, he went through the text line by line.

Discount: Due to an unexpected technical difficulty with the recording, our version for sale is less than perfect. The translator's voice is loud and clear, but Nubpa Rinpoche's voice is slightly hidden.

Translated by Ina Bieler. 18 CDs or 1 MP3.
