Composed by a great Mahasiddha the first Karma Chagme Rinpoche in 1613, this comprehensive text is considered not only the definitive maual of Buddhist retreat practice, but also a complete oral instruction for all stages of the Buddhist paths of individual liberation, Mahayana, Vajrayana, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen. The significance of "Mountain Dharma Retreat Manual" in Tibetan Buddhism parallels the esteem reserved for such venerated texts as Gampopa's "Jewel Ornament of Liberation." This is the first US teaching by Chagme Rinpoche, a Drikung Kagyu tulku from Tibet who has been requested to give these teachings by H.E.
