Garchen Gampopa's Precious Garland 2011

During the Summer Teachings 2011, Garchen Rinpoche gave teachings on Gampopa's "Precious Garland of the Supreme Path," also known as "The Instructions of Gampopa." These are Gampopa's famous Lists of Ten-- such as the ten necessary things, the ten things to emphasize, the ten confusions of one thing for another, the ten unmistaken things, the ten ways to accomplish one's own disaster, and so forth.

These teachings with Garchen Rinpoche were especially precious. Some of his long-time students thought these were the best teachings Rinpoche had ever given. He covered the entire path, focusing especially on the reality of cause and effect, the altruistic intention of bodhisattvas, and the final practice of mind's nature. He also gave many pith teachings on devotion, Sangha, and the power of kindness.
