Garchen Phowa 2012

The Tibetan tradition of Buddhism includes detailed advice for using the process of dying as a means to attain complete enlightenment. The first of these teachings is that of Phowa, which is intended to create a strong connection with the Buddha Amitabha and his pureland of Dewachen. This connection is then called upon at the time of death for a swift transference to Dewachen.

This extraordinary teaching by Garchen Rinpoche brings great clarity and accessibility to the practice of Phowa.
