Traga Vajrayogini 2002

Vajravarahi represents the transformed emotions of passion into compassion, and ignorance into wisdom. She is associated with the Buddha Vairocana, and is the dakini consort of Cakrasamvara. Her form and practice are used in generation stages, and particularly in the Six Yogas of Naropa. She was the tutelary dakini of the adepts Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa, and Phagmodrupa, and because of this she is an especially important figure within the Kagyu lineage.
